Illinois High School Basketball - Alden-Hebron overwhelms Westminster Christian
January 25, 2024: Elgin, IL 60124 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Alden-Hebron Green Giants (Hebron, IL) and the host Westminster Christian Warriors (Elgin, IL), saw Alden-Hebron's basketball squad wallop Westminster Christian by a tally of 62-31.
With the victory, Alden-Hebron improves its record to 16-6 on the campaign. The Green Giants travel to Marquette (Ottawa, IL) to confront the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 14-8. Marquette won 40-33 in their recent league challenge against Midland (Varna, IL)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Christian Life Eagles (Rockford, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 26. Westminster Christian will attempt to improve on its 2-15 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 15-7 record after their 50-28 league win over Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy (Rockford, IL).
