Illinois High School Basketball - Christian Life tops Alden-Hebron
December 12, 2023: Rockford, IL 61114 Christian Life Eagles (Rockford, IL) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Alden-Hebron Green Giants (Hebron, IL), 52-34 in a league bout.
With the victory, Christian Life upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Eagles host Lutheran (Rockford, IL) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 7-2. Lutheran won 67-26 in their recent league bout against Genoa-Kingston (Genoa, IL)
Next up, the Green Giants play the Durand Bulldogs (Durand, IL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 14. Alden-Hebron will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 42-33 league loss to Pearl City (Pearl City, IL).
