Colorado High School Basketball - Longmont holds off Centaurus

January 25, 2024: Lafayette, CO 80026

Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Longmont Trojans (Longmont, CO) and the host Centaurus Warriors (Lafayette, CO), saw Longmont's basketball squad hold off Centaurus by a tally of 44-40.

With the victory, Longmont improves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Trojans host Mead (Longmont, CO) to confront the Mavericks in a 6A/5A/4A Northern challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a record of 14-2. Mead won 67-29 in their recent league challenge against Greeley Central (Greeley, CO)

Next up, the Warriors confront the Greeley West Spartans (Greeley, CO) in a 6A/5A/4A Northern challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Centaurus will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 3-12 record after their 64-35 league loss to Silver Creek (Longmont, CO).
