Whitman Vikings (Bethesda, MD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Gaithersburg Trojans (Gaithersburg, MD), 64-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Whitman upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Vikings travel to Seneca Valley (Germantown, MD) to clash with the Screamin' Eagles in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Screamin' Eagles go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Seneca Valley won 53-25 in their recent non-league bout against Magruder (Rockville, MD)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Churchill Bulldogs (Potomac, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Gaithersburg will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 3-7 record after their 45-24 non-league win over Magruder (Rockville, MD).
