Maryland High School Basketball - Whitman overwhelms Churchill
February 5, 2024: Bethesda, MD 20817 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Whitman Vikings (Bethesda, MD) and the visiting Churchill Bulldogs (Potomac, MD), saw Whitman's basketball squad wallop Churchill by a tally of 63-41.
With the victory, Whitman improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Walter Johnson (Bethesda, MD) to confront the Wildcats in a Montgomery County - 4A South challenge on Friday, February 9. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 12-6. Walter Johnson won 46-44 in their recent league challenge against Wootton (Rockville, MD)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons (Bethesda, MD) in a Freelance challenge, on Tuesday, February 13. Churchill will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record.
