Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Westminster Academy Lions (Fort Lauderdale, FL) and the visiting Miami Christian Victors (Miami, FL), saw Westminster Academy's basketball squad hold off Miami Christian by a count of 45-39.

With the victory, Westminster Academy upgrades its record to 13-8 on the campaign. The Lions travel to American Heritage (Plantation, FL) to play the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 26. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 16-5. American Heritage lost 49-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Miami Country Day (Miami, FL)

Next up, the Victors play the Doral Academy Firebirds (Doral, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Miami Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record.
