Washington High School Basketball - Monroe crushes Shorewood
January 25, 2024: Monroe, WA 98272 Monroe Bearcats (Monroe, WA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Shorewood Stormrays (Shoreline, WA), 55-30 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Monroe upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Everett (Everett, WA) to play the Seagulls in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Seagulls go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Everett lost 47-20 in their recent non-league bout against Arlington (Arlington, WA)
Next up, the Stormrays play the Shorecrest Scots (Seattle, WA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 27. Shorewood will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Scots go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 61-16 non-league win over Cascade (Everett, WA).
