Washington High School Basketball - Stanwood nudges Monroe
January 6, 2024: Stanwood, WA 98292 Stanwood Spartans (Stanwood, WA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Monroe Bearcats (Monroe, WA), 40-33 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Stanwood upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Spartans travel to Everett (Everett, WA) to clash with the Seagulls in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Seagulls go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Everett won 40-18 in their recent non-league bout against Marysville-Pilchuck (Marysville, WA)
Next up, the Bearcats clash with the Marysville-Pilchuck Tomahawks (Marysville, WA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 10. Monroe will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Tomahawks go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 40-18 non-league loss to Everett (Everett, WA).
