January 25, 2024: San Jose, CA 95126 The Archbishop Mitty Monarchs basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Bellarmine College Prep Bells to 38 in the Monarchs league victory on Thursday.
The Monarchs now sport a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Serra for a contest on Saturday, January 27. Archbishop Mitty will battle a Padres team coming off a 59-55 league win over Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA). The Padres record now stands at 16-3.
The Bells (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory (San Francisco, CA). The Fightin' Irish come into the contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory was defeated by Serra (San Mateo, CA), 59-55, in a league contest.
