January 25, 2024: Doral, FL 33178 The JC Bermudez Doral Thunder basketball team scored 38 points and restricted the visiting Downtown Doral Dolphins to 32 in the Thunder league victory on Thursday.
The Thunder now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dr. Krop for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. JC Bermudez Doral will battle a Lightning team coming off a 81-26 non-league win over Belen Jesuit (Miami, FL). The Lightning record now stands at 2-10.
The Dolphins (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Somerset Academy South Homestead (Homestead, FL). The Hurricanes come into the non-league contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Somerset Academy South Homestead was nudged by Pinecrest Prep (Miami, FL), 58-45, in a non-league contest.
