Washington, DC High School Basketball - Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering can't hold off BASIS
January 25, 2025: Washington, DC 20004 BASIS Red Giants (Washington, DC) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering Panthers (Washington, DC), 64-59 in a non-league match.
With the victory, BASIS upgrades its record to 3-11 on the year. The Red Giants host Washington Latin Public Charter School (Washington, DC) to face the Lions in a PCSAA A match on Tuesday, January 28. The Lions enter the match with a record of 2-12.
The Panthers now sport a 0-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Banneker for a DCSAA A match on Monday, January 27. Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 66-60 non-league loss to New Hope Academy Regional (Landover Hills, MD). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-7.
