Southwest Roughriders (Bartley, NE) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Cambridge Trojans (Cambridge, NE), 69-65 in a non-league challenge.

The Roughriders (6-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Bertrand (Bertrand, NE). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 13-4 record. In their last challenge, Bertrand edged Southern Valley (Oxford, NE), 63-57, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans encounter the Southern Valley Eagles (Oxford, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Cambridge will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record.
