Irondale Knights (New Brighton, MN) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Duluth East Greyhounds (Duluth, MN), 71-66 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Irondale upgrades its record to 5-12 on the year. The Knights travel to Woodbury (Woodbury, MN) to face the Royals in a AAAA Section 4 match on Tuesday, January 28. The Royals enter the match with a record of 7-11. Woodbury lost 63-38 in their recent league match against Stillwater (Stillwater, MN)

The Greyhounds now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Centennial for a AAAA Section 7 match on Saturday, February 1.
