Minnesota High School Basketball - Stillwater sneaks past Irondale

January 7, 2025: New Brighton, MN 55112

The Stillwater Ponies basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Irondale Knights to 55 in the Ponies league triumph on Tuesday.

The Ponies now possess a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Roseville for a non-league game on Friday, January 10. Stillwater will play a Raiders team coming off a 78-53 league loss to Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN). The Raiders record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, Irondale falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Knights travel to East Ridge (Woodbury, MN) to play the Raptors in a AAAA Section 4 game on Friday, January 10. The Raptors go into the game with a record of 6-4. East Ridge won 80-72 in their recent non-league game against Park (Cottage Grove, MN)
