In Saturday's non-league test, the Fillmore Central Panthers (Geneva, NE) basketball squad defeated the host Elmwood-Murdock Knights (Murdock, NE), by a final score of 71-62.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Centennial Broncos (Utica, NE) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 28. Fillmore Central will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record.

The Knights (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Freeman (Adams, NE). The Falcons come into the non-league test with a 15-1 record. In their last test, Freeman overcame Bishop Neumann (Wahoo, NE), 58-57, in a non-league test.
