The Tri County Trojans basketball squad (DeWitt, NE), was nudged 56-54 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Elmwood-Murdock Knights (Murdock, NE)

With the victory, Elmwood-Murdock advances its record to 7-5 on the year. The Knights travel to Lourdes Central Catholic (Nebraska City, NE) to meet the Knights in a D1 District 2 battle on Friday, January 24. The Knights enter the battle with a record of 4-10.

The Trojans now own a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thayer Central for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 28.
