In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Johnson County Central Thunderbirds basketball team scored a big 63-31 triumph over the Tri County Trojans.

The Thunderbirds (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Southern (Wymore, NE). The Raiders go into the C2 District 1 contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Southern smashed Palmyra (Palmyra, NE), 48-43, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Trojans confront the Pawnee City Indians (Pawnee City, NE) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Tri County will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record.
