Nebraska High School Basketball - Tri County holds off Fairbury

The Tri County Trojans basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Fairbury Jeffs to 48 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Trojans now have a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Freeman for a C2 District 1 game on Saturday, January 11. Tri County will confront a Falcons team coming off a 73-50 league win over Southern (Wymore, NE). The Falcons record now stands at 9-0.

With the loss, Fairbury falls to 4-6 on the campaign. The Jeffs host Wilber-Clatonia (Wilber, NE) to confront the Wolverines in a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. The Wolverines go into the game with a record of 7-5.
