The Sandy Creek Cougars were victorious over the host Tri County Trojans basketball squad by a final score of 64-51 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Cougars clash with the Holdrege Dusters (Holdrege, NE) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, December 17. Sandy Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Dusters enter the outing with a 3-1 record after their 73-72 non-league loss to Ogallala (Ogallala, NE).
