In Thursday's non-league contest, the visiting Wilber-Clatonia Wolverines basketball team scored a big 64-43 win over the Tri County Trojans.

The Wolverines (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Heartland (Henderson, NE). The Huskies come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Heartland was trounced by Fairbury (Fairbury, NE), 39-28, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Johnson County Central Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, NE) in a C2 District 1 contest, on Saturday, December 7. Tri County will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record.
