In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Union Yellowjackets basketball team scored a close 37-33 triumph over the Enterprise Bulldogs.

The Yellowjackets (2-17) will now prepare for their contest against Sebastopol (Sebastopol, MS). The Bobcats go into the 2A Region 4 contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Sebastopol was tipped by Philadelphia (Philadelphia, MS), 57-31, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs confront the Noxubee County Tigers (Macon, MS) in a 3A Region 5 contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Enterprise will attempt to better on its 9-12 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 5-8 record after their 33-24 league loss to McLaurin (Florence, MS).
