January 25, 2025: Glenwood, MN 56334 The Minnewaska Area Lakers defeated the visiting Hancock Owls basketball squad by a final score of 71-55 in Saturday's non-league outing.
Next, the Lakers clash with the Montevideo Thunderhawks (Montevideo, MN) in a AA Section 3 outing, on Thursday, January 30. Minnewaska Area will attempt to upgrade on its 8-8 season record.
The Owls (7-7) will now prepare for their outing against Hillcrest Lutheran Academy (Fergus Falls, MN). The Comets come into the A Section 6 outing with a 8-6 record. In their last outing, Hillcrest Lutheran Academy went down by Pelican Rapids (Pelican Rapids, MN), 56-53, in a non-league outing.
