The Minnewaska Area Lakers basketball squad (Glenwood, MN), was outscored 72-55 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting West Central Area Knights (Barrett, MN)

With the victory, West Central Area advances its record to 7-4 on the year. The Knights travel to Ada-Borup (Ada, MN) to meet the Cougars in a non-league battle on Saturday, January 11. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 8-3. Ada-Borup won 55-43 in their recent non-league battle against Park Christian (Moorhead, MN)

The Lakers now own a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Litchfield for a AA Section 3 battle on Friday, January 10.
