South Dakota High School Basketball - Hanson holds off Leola/Frederick
January 25, 2025: Alexandria, SD 57311 The Hanson Beavers basketball team scored 68 points and limited the visiting Leola/Frederick Titans to 64 in the Beavers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Beavers now have a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Sanborn Central/Woonsocket for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. Hanson will confront a Rebels team coming off a 60-40 non-league win over Iroquois/Lake Preston (Iroquois, SD). The Rebels record now stands at 7-4.
With the loss, Leola/Frederick falls to 12-2 on the campaign. The Titans host Britton-Hecla (Britton, SD) to confront the Braves in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The Braves go into the game with a record of 7-3. Britton-Hecla won 53-33 in their recent non-league game against Warner (Warner, SD)
