December 30, 2024: Viborg, SD 57070 The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Viborg/Hurley Cougars (Viborg, SD) and the visiting Leola/Frederick Titans (Leola, SD), observed Viborg/Hurley's basketball team knock off Leola/Frederick by a score of 84-75.
The Cougars (4-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Gregory (Gregory, SD). The Gorillas come into the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Gregory prevailed over North Central (Bassett, NE), 61-23, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Titans battle the Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers (Gettysburg, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 4. Leola/Frederick will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Battlers come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 62-49 non-league win over Hitchcock-Tulare (Tulare, SD).
