January 25, 2025: Joliet, MT 59041 In Saturday's league test, the Shepherd Mustangs (Shepherd, MT) basketball squad defeated the host Joliet J Hawks (Joliet, MT), by a final score of 52-39.
Next, the Mustangs clash with the Columbus Cougars (Columbus, MT) in a B District 4 test, on Friday, January 31. Shepherd will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 6-2 record after their 58-43 league win over Sweet Grass County (Big Timber, MT).
The J Hawks (6-4) will now prepare for their test against Roundup (Roundup, MT). The Panthers come into the B District 4 test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Roundup went down by Park City (Park City, MT), 71-31, in a league test.
