Virginia High School Basketball - New Hope Academy National victorious over Veritas Collegiate Academy

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting New Hope Academy National Tigers basketball team scored a good 69-59 triumph over the Veritas Collegiate Academy Spartans.

The Tigers (14-13) will now prepare for their contest against Fairfax Christian (Dulles, VA). The Cardinals go into the non-league contest with a 11-10 record. In their last contest, Fairfax Christian topped King Abdullah Academy (Herndon, VA), 102-74, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the The Carmel School Wildcats (Ruther Glen, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Veritas Collegiate Academy will attempt to better on its 9-9 season record.
