Washington High School Basketball - Shorewood toppled by Shorecrest
January 25, 2025: Shoreline, WA 98133 Shorecrest Scots (Seattle, WA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Shorewood Stormrays (Shoreline, WA), 61-44 in a league match.
With the victory, Shorecrest upgrades its record to 16-2 on the year. The Scots travel to Edmonds-Woodway (Edmonds, WA) to face the Warriors in a 2A/3A Wesco - South match on Tuesday, January 28. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 17-0. Edmonds-Woodway won 51-50 in their recent non-league match against West Seattle (Seattle, WA)
The Stormrays now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountlake Terrace for a 2A/3A Wesco - South match on Tuesday, January 28. Shorewood will face a Hawks squad coming off a 48-45 league win over Meadowdale (Lynnwood, WA). The Hawks record now stands at 9-8.
