Ohio High School Basketball - Woodward trounced by Southview
January 25, 2025: Sylvania, OH 43560 Southview Cougars (Sylvania, OH) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Woodward Polar Bears (Toledo, OH), 71-18 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Southview moves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Bowling Green (Bowling Green, OH) to play the Bobcats in a Northern Lakes bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 3-13. Bowling Green lost 52-45 in their recent non-league bout against Columbian (Tiffin, OH)
With the loss, Woodward falls to 0-14 on the campaign. The Polar bears travel to Monclova Christian Academy (Monclova, OH) to play the Thunder in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Thunder go into the bout with a record of 11-1.
