Oklahoma High School Basketball - Sterling bested by Geronimo
January 25, 2025: Geronimo, OK 73543 Geronimo Blue Jays (Geronimo, OK) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Sterling Tigers (Sterling, OK), 49-36 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Geronimo advances its record to 11-11 on the year. The Blue Jays host Grandfield (Grandfield, OK) to meet the Bearcats in a Southern Eight match on Thursday, January 30. The Bearcats enter the match with a record of 7-9.
The Tigers now own a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Indiahoma for a Caddo-Comanche match on Tuesday, January 28. Sterling will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 57-27 league loss to Fletcher (Fletcher, OK). The Warriors record now stands at 7-14.
