January 25, 2025: McKeesport, PA 15132 Greensburg Central Catholic Centurions (Greensburg, PA) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host McKeesport Tigers (McKeesport, PA), 60-29 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Greensburg Central Catholic advances its record to 9-3 on the year. The Centurions travel to Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA) to face the Antelopes in a WPIAL 3A 2 match on Monday, January 27. The Antelopes enter the match with a record of 9-5. Avonworth won 53-22 in their recent non-league match against Deer Lakes (Russellton, PA)
The Tigers now own a 4-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Mifflin for a WPIAL 5A 2 match on Monday, January 27. McKeesport will face a Titans squad coming off a 56-25 league loss to Penn-Trafford (Harrison City, PA). The Titans record now stands at 3-11.
