The Lake Arthur Tigers bounced the host Welsh Greyhounds basketball squad by a final score of 72-39 in Saturday's league contest.

The Tigers (7-15) will now prepare for their contest against Lafayette Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA). The Knights go into the 2A District 6 contest with a 17-5 record.

In their next game, the Greyhounds battle the Midland Rebels (Midland, LA) in a 2A District 6 contest, on Thursday, January 30. Welsh will attempt to better on its 6-14 season record.
