The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Pioneer Panthers (Yorkshire, NY) and the visiting Salamanca Warriors (Salamanca, NY), observed Pioneer's basketball team knock off Salamanca by a score of 37-28.

The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Iroquois (Elma, NY). The Redhawks come into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record.

In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Olean Huskies (Olean, NY) in a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - West I challenge, on Monday, January 27. Salamanca will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record.
