January 25, 2025: Toledo, OH 43613 The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Southview Cougars (Sylvania, OH) and the host Whitmer Panthers (Toledo, OH), witnessed Southview's ice hockey team nip Whitmer by a final score of 6-5.
The Cougars (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake (Millbury, OH). The Flyers come into the challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Lake was nipped by Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (Cuyahoga Falls, OH), 5-3, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Troy Trojans (Troy, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 31. Whitmer will attempt to upgrade on its 3-11 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 19-5 record after their 8-3 league win over Mason (Mason, OH).
