In Wednesday's non-league outing, the North Fremont Huskies (Ashton, ID) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Malad Dragons (Malad, ID), by a margin of 56-26.

The Huskies (13-1) will now prepare for their outing against Firth (Firth, ID). The Cougars go into the 2A Nuclear match with a 10-5 record. In their last match, Firth crushed West Jefferson (Terreton, ID), 53-41, in a league match.

With the defeat, Malad moves to 2-14 on the year. The Dragons host Soda Springs (Soda Springs, ID) to meet the Cardinals in a 2A South East Idaho match on Thursday, January 27.
