The Riverside Beavers basketball team (Painesville, OH), was nudged 63-62 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Nordonia Knights (Macedonia, OH)

The Knights now sport a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wadsworth for a Suburban - National battle on Friday, January 28. Nordonia will battle a Grizzlies team coming off a 75-53 league win over Hudson (Hudson, OH). The Grizzlies record now stands at 6-6.

The Beavers (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against North (Eastlake, OH). The Rangers come into the Western Reserve battle with a 2-8 record. In their last battle, North was nudged by Chardon (Chardon, OH), 87-85, in a league battle.
