California High School Basketball - West County fells Piner

January 26, 2022: Sebastopol, CA 95472

West County Team (Sebastopol, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Piner Prospectors (Santa Rosa, CA), 62-51 in a league bout.

With the win, West County upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Team host Ukiah (Ukiah, CA) to play the Wildcats in a bout on Friday, January 28. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Ukiah won 52-39 in their recent league bout against St. Vincent de Paul (Petaluma, CA)

Next up, the Prospectors play the Rancho Cotate Cougars (Rohnert Park, CA) in a bout, on Friday, January 28. Piner will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record.
