Nevada High School Basketball - Mater Academy East Las Vegas crushes Amplus Academy
January 26, 2023: Las Vegas, NV 89110 Mater Academy East Las Vegas Knights (Las Vegas, NV) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Amplus Academy Archers (Las Vegas, NV), 66-41 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Mater Academy East Las Vegas upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Knights host Awaken Christian (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Monday, January 30. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 4-14. Awaken Christian lost 70-35 in their recent league bout against Lincoln County (Panaca, NV)
Next up, the Archers play the Innovations International Ambassadors (Las Vegas, NV) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 2. Amplus Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Ambassadors come into the bout with a 5-8 record after their 52-33 non-league win over Mountain View Christian (Las Vegas, NV).
