January 26, 2023: Eau Claire, WI 54701 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Bloomer Blackhawks (Bloomer, WI) and the host Regis Ramblers (Eau Claire, WI), saw Bloomer's basketball squad hold off Regis by a tally of 47-45.
With the victory, Bloomer improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Blackhawks travel to McDonell Central (Chippewa Falls, WI) to confront the Macks in a Cloverbelt - West challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Macks come into the challenge with a record of 15-1. McDonell Central won 73-47 in their recent league challenge against Osseo-Fairchild (Osseo, WI)
Next up, the Ramblers confront the Thorp Cardinals (Thorp, WI) in a Cloverbelt - West challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Regis will attempt to improve on its 2-17 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 9-10 record after their 58-48 league win over Cadott (Cadott, WI).
