Arizona High School Basketball - Buckeye tipped by Horizon

In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Horizon Huskies basketball team scored a tight 63-58 triumph over the Buckeye Hawks.

In their next game, the Huskies meet the Cactus Shadows Falcons (Cave Creek, AZ) in a 5A Northeast Valley match, on Tuesday, January 31. Horizon will attempt to better on its 13-9 season record. The Falcons enter the match with a 14-8 record after their 73-44 league loss to Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ).

With the defeat, Buckeye moves to 14-9 on the year. The Hawks travel to Copper Canyon (Glendale, AZ) to meet the Aztecs in a 5A Central Valley match on Monday, January 30. The Aztecs enter the match with a record of 7-15. Copper Canyon lost 61-39 in their recent league match against Youngker (Buckeye, AZ)
