The Valley Vikings basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Desert Oasis Diamondbacks to 48 in the Vikings league triumph on Thursday.

The Vikings now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cheyenne for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28.

The Diamondbacks (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Legacy (North Las Vegas, NV). The Longhorns enter the 4A Mountain contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Legacy ran past Faith Lutheran (Las Vegas, NV), 64-51, in a non-league contest.
