Florida High School Basketball - Freedom crushes First Academy

January 26, 2023: Leesburg, FL 34748

Freedom Patriots (Orlando, FL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host First Academy Eagles (Leesburg, FL), 79-54 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Freedom upgrades its record to 5-16 on the season. The Patriots host Horizon (Winter Garden, FL) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 1-20. Horizon lost 42-33 in their recent non-league bout against Lake Buena Vista (Orlando, FL)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Crooms Academy Panthers (Sanford, FL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 30. First Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 70-52 league loss to Circle Christian (Winter Park, FL).
