Massachusetts High School Basketball - Fitchburg fells St. Paul
January 26, 2023: Worcester, MA 01605 Fitchburg Red Raiders (Fitchburg, MA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host St. Paul (Worcester, MA), 67-53 in a non-league challenge.
With the victory, Fitchburg improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Red Raiders travel to Shrewsbury (Shrewsbury, MA) to confront the Colonials in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Colonials come into the challenge with a record of 3-8. Shrewsbury lost 52-48 in their recent league challenge against Wachusett Regional (Holden, MA)
Next up, the confront the St. Bernard's Central Catholic Bernardians (Fitchburg, MA) in a Central Mass challenge, on Friday, January 27. St. Paul will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Bernardians come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 63-30 non-league win over Immaculate Heart of Mary (Still River, MA).
