January 13, 2023: Leominster, MA 01453 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Leominster Blue Devils (Leominster, MA) and the visiting Fitchburg Red Raiders (Fitchburg, MA), saw Leominster's basketball squad overcome Fitchburg by a tally of 61-50.
With the victory, Leominster improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Westford Academy (Westford, MA) to confront the Grey Ghosts in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Grey Ghosts come into the challenge with a record of 4-6.
Next up, the Red Raiders confront the Marlborough Panthers (Marlborough, MA) in a Midland-Wachusett B challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Fitchburg will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 72-27 non-league loss to Shepherd Hill Regional (Dudley, MA).
