In Thursday's non-league match, the host Veritas Collegiate Academy Spartans basketball team scored a good 71-62 triumph over the Fredericksburg Christian Eagles.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Christ Chapel Academy (Woodbridge, VA) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 27.
