The Helena Bengals (Helena, MT) basketball knocked off the visiting Sentinel Spartans (Missoula, MT), 72-61 in Thursday's league test.

The Bengals (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Sentinel (Missoula, MT). The Spartans go into the AA Western test with a 2-10 record.

The Spartans now own a 2-10 record. They play next when they travel to Flathead for a AA Western test on Friday, February 3. Sentinel will encounter a Braves/Bravettes squad coming off a 71-54 league loss to Big Sky (Missoula, MT). The Braves/Bravettes record now stands at 0-9.
