January 26, 2023: Sitka, AK 99835 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Sitka Wolves (Sitka, AK) and the visiting Homer Mariners (Homer, AK), saw Sitka's basketball squad wallop Homer by a tally of 54-29.
With the victory, Sitka improves its record to 7-3 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Mt. Edgecumbe (Sitka, AK) to play the Braves in a 3A Eastern challenge on Friday, February 3. The Braves come into the challenge with a record of 9-2. Mt. Edgecumbe won 73-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Homer (Homer, AK)
Next up, the Mariners play the Mt. Edgecumbe Braves (Sitka, AK) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 27. Homer will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 7-2 record after their 56-43 league win over Sitka (Sitka, AK).
