Michigan High School Basketball - Kingsford fells North Central
January 26, 2023: Powers, MI 49874 Kingsford Flivvers (Kingsford, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host North Central Jets (Powers, MI), 67-47 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Kingsford upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Flivvers travel to Norway (Norway, MI) to clash with the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Norway won 73-32 in their recent non-league bout against West Iron County (Iron River, MI)
Next up, the Jets clash with the Iron Mountain Mountaineers (Iron Mountain, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 30. North Central will attempt to upgrade on its 9-1 season record. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a 8-1 record after their 49-46 league loss to Westwood (Ishpeming, MI).
