Kentucky High School Basketball - Southwestern nudges Seneca
January 26, 2023: Louisville, KY 40220 In Thursday's non-league outing, the Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY) basketball squad edged the host Seneca Red Hawks (Louisville, KY), by a count of 63-57.
The Warriors (14-11) will now prepare for their outing against Wayne County (Monticello, KY). The Cardinals go into the District 48 outing with a 10-5 record. In their last outing, Wayne County held off Knox Central (Barbourville, KY), 78-54, in a non-league outing.
The Red Hawks now hold a 4-8 record. They play next when they host Christian Academy-Louisville for a non-league outing on Friday, January 27. Seneca will clash with a Centurions squad coming off a 75-62 non-league loss to Bullitt East (Mt. Washington, KY). The Centurions record now stands at 5-8.
