New Jersey High School Basketball - Sterling holds off West Deptford
January 26, 2023: Somerdale, NJ 08083 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Sterling Silver Knights (Somerdale, NJ) and the visiting West Deptford Eagles (Westville, NJ), saw Sterling's basketball squad hold off West Deptford by a tally of 58-52.
With the victory, Sterling improves its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Silver Knights travel to Hightstown (Hightstown, NJ) to confront the Rams in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 10-9. Hightstown lost 59-43 in their recent league challenge against Trenton Central (Trenton, NJ)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Woodstown Wolverines (Woodstown, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 28. West Deptford will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 65-56 non-league loss to Clayton (Clayton, NJ).
